Weather forecast for Thursday 24th December, 2009.

0% chance of snowfall, 35% chance of thunderstorm activity, max UV 0.

During the night it will be overcast with a chance of some light showers. Temperatures will be around 4c, but the gentle southerly breeze will bring a wind chill of 0c. There may be quite dense fog in exposed places.

It will remain overcast throughout the morning, with further light showers. The wind will ease to a gentle south easterly breeze with temperatures reaching a high of 6c with a wind chill a little cooler.

During the afternoon it will remain overcast, with further light patchy showers. Temperatures will remain at 6c, with the wind shifting to a light easterly breeze with a wind chill of 3c.

It will remain overcast during the evening, with temperatures easing to 1c, with a chance of patchy fog and air frost. The wind will shift to a light northerly breeze with a wind chill as low as -1c.


Weather forecast for Christmas Day, 2009.

0% chance of snowfall, 15% chance of thunderstorm activity, max UV 1.

It will be cloudy and cold overnight and frosty, with temperatures around 2c. The wind will be a gentle westerly breeze with a wind chill just below freezing, so we may have air frost and patchy ice with freezing fog.

After a cloudy start to the morning, it will become clearer and brighter but there may be light showers at times. Temperatures will be around 3c early on, warming in the sun to a high of 5c. The wind will remain a gentle westerly breeze with a wind chill of 1c.

The afternoon will become much clearer with long periods of bright wintry sunshine during which temperatures will remain at 5c. The wind will shift to a light south westerly breeze with a wind chill of 1c.

The evening will remain quite clear with temperatures easing to 4c. The wind will increase to a moderate south westerly breeze with temperatures feeling closer to 2c.
