Got it, Ken. Yes, it's a very early (1937) television set...or "televisor" as it was called in those days. Very Happy

Smile I thought it might be ! The small screen is just out of sight at the top of the pic if I remember rightly, a guy just up the street from where we lived as kids had a very similar one to that one.

I rember the old sets my Grandad had one before we did, what would they think of the hugh screens of today Confused

The first television my family had, was rented from a firm called "Radio Rentals". This was around May 1953 in time for Queen Elizabeth's coronation.

I was only eight, but remember all our neighbours coming in to watch it, Mum ran out of chairs and asked them to bring their own if they were staying!!!!
