The Seward Chronicles is looking forward to exciting times in the not too distant future. Whilst "closing down" it's Newsvine column after two years with that Site, we can now expect a surge in Internet activity in the form of new radio and Podcast shows.
Yesterday, the new studio complex was being wired and tested and some new equipment was installed.
The emphasis will, of course, still be on News, Politics, and Current Affairs, however, the Seward Chronicles is applying for a PRS licence (Performing Rights Society), to enable it to broadcast music legally over the internet on it's shows.
Because "Yours Truly" used to be a Presenter on a Community Radio Station a few years ago, ever since the dream has been there to start up a Internet Radio Station.
Podcasts are fine, but by their very nature they are somewhat restricted due to time constraints and previously being unable to include music.
Hopefully, this restriction will soon be ending, as The Seward Chronicles looks for a suitable "Host" to stream broadcasts, interviews, talk shows, and music programmes to our ever expanding World-Wide audience.
Barely two years since tentatively testing out the idea, our current Podcast has expanded, and we now have almost 2000 Subscribers who listen and download our shows on a regular basis.
Besides our own outlets, The Seward Chronicles are proud to announce a regular show with Krystal Radio which resumes live broadcasting again at the end of November, after a break of almost three years.
The future is, indeed, looking very exciting.

Congratulations that sounds like an exceptionally healthy future. You've worked for it Sandie.
