Do you watch the Antiques Road Show?
It was a repeat again last Sunday and it showed a painting by Souza that was, in my opinion, a load of b****y rubbish but it was worth up to £80,000. It was a maze of lines and colours and represented sod all. How can anyone call this art???????? Unfortunately the one I am talking about is not on this site but it gives you some idea of the rubbish he painted.

UGGGG! I agree with you Maywalk, a load of s..t. 
My Dad was an artist, he did landshapes mainly, never was famous but did exhibit and was known in arty circles.Art was his whole life. |

Marie, you don't "dress up" to visit boot sales, just the opposite. When I used to be a regular, I used to sometimes get taken for a Bag Lady!!!

I've just been to two. The first was in what used to be the Ever Ready factory near us, it closed down putting a lot of people out of work.
The second was with a few friends who had taken a stall in a little open air sale, lovely weather and an enjoyable day. I'll remember that advice if I go to another one.
