At least 750 jobs lost in Southern Scotland.The economic downturn has seen at least 750 jobs lost in the south of Scotland, a study has suggested.
The Scottish Enterprise report has highlighted the construction, forestry and textile industries as being the worst affected by the recession.
Over the last 18 months 460 jobs have gone in the Scottish Borders, along with 290 in Dumfries and Galloway.
