Baby BluetitsThere were three of them playing in the berberis for about ten minutes yesterday. I was fascinated because we lost all of our birds after the hawk's last visit well over a year ago.
The two greenfinch have come back this year but it is two years since we saw the two goldfinch and the great tit and adult bluetits. We haven't ever had anything more exotic than goldfinches and the male sparrowhawk though.

I wish you could Dee. We are living in a large village but have a main road running along in front of our garden and houses behind.
We used to live at the edge of a village with a view over the valley and river and had a good variety of birds visiting. I have a photo somewhere I will look for it and scan it.

I've finally found them and sorted them out Dee. TThis is where we used to live up until about ten years ago.
It was taken from our front garden, we had a bungalow. The view was straight over the valley and the river up to the A68 on the horizon, the Scotland road from Scotch Corner. We got loads of different birds.
This is the side view, it isn't very clear but that was open country as far as you could see.
This is where we live now.
This is the view from the front with our Lupin tree which was amazing.

Here are a couple of shots of my flat. No real views, but could be worse.
Both pics were taken on Midsummers Day this year.

I love that balcony. You have some greenery out front which looks very pleasant admin. It can't be bad to look out on.
I have been on this forum, on this topic, for over an hour I think.
Still it keeps me occupied and fascinated I may add.
Kenneth showed me how to do this with Paint Shop Pro it is the child blended onto a sunset at home.

Having a hunt now for another photo of our village, love all the others you have sent.
This is my back garden last year, the window in the center is the bathroom.

That is a nice size Dee is it easy to look after, it certainly looks pleasant.
There are only two houses and eight bungalows on our estate but I did pick the one with the largest gardens on the plans.
We are now in the process of getting rid of the lawns because Tony is going to be unable to cope with them and refuses to let anyone else cut them.
I am going to take a picture of our back garden now, which we are working on, and another when it is finished and will show you them. The front is soon to be altered for a small conservatory which I have been trying to get for 15months.
