I have just had a phone call from Radio Leicester asking me if they can interview me about when I became an evacuee to the Midlands nearly 70 years ago.

That will be two appointments this week because I have a Midlands Today TV producer calling for me tomorrow to take me to the Great Central Station for an interview.
Now Radio Leicester will be doing the same thing on Thursday. They too want to take me to the Great Central Station.

Its to do with the evacuation of thousands of children when WW2 was declared which will be 70 years ago this coming September the 3rd.

Crikey I have never been so popular. Embarassed

I think they are trying to get stories from those of us who are left before we pop our clogs.

If it could be done through my own phone Sandie I would probably be able to pick up what you are saying because it has an amplifer on it but not of its through the computer.

The phone would be a regular landline May, and if yours has an amplifier then so much the better.

I am getting a new broadcasting quality microphone soon, probably next week, so we'll wait till then and record the new podcast ready for early September. (70th Anniversary of Second World War). Very Happy
