Very good sandie have you noticed they are still advertising on the TV,can't see anyone putting their money in the fixed rate bond at the moment can you?

Jojo, it's rather worrying to know exactly what to do with any spare cash these days. Do we stuff it away under our mattresses, or do we put it into a Bank to get a dirisive amount of Interest on it?
Do we not bother to "save" at all?
This week I have had to fork out almost £260 on Car Tax, and Council Tax alone. There seems no end to the amount of taxes we are expected to pay just to keep a roof over our heads and a car on the road.

i dont worry to much about car tax, councel tax etc cos i pay it all thorough the bank each month also gas,elc,life insurance and every other bloody thing so theres not much left in the joint account any way......there is in mine tho so i hope it stays there.

All our bills are paid direct debit, from a joint account, but like you browneyes I have my own account and savings which I look after very well  whats his is mine and whats mine is my own
