Hi Kenneth, I logged onto your Whitby picture and the sounds of the gulls makes you feel as if you're actually there. I've been to Whitby, when I went to Scarborough several years ago. Nice little fishing village Whitby.

Very impressive the gulls and the picture background. You'll have to teach me!

They aren't working for me Kenneth. It is downloading a file and animation shop 3 is trying to read it and can't. My default player is windows media player so I don't know what is going wrong.

Is it working for other people?

Windows media player plays them from my e-mail. I will go check everything I can think of and get back to you. I love South Shields.

I can play these clips on my system, but should there be sound effects like the first ones you put on this forum? If so, there is no sound coming through and I've got my speakers turned up. Crying or Very sad

I did it I downloaded to the desktop and clicked open with media player.
It was worth the effort and the South Shields one was lovely. Thanks Kenneth. Very Happy

That`s great Marieann-----but it`s oh so easy to set your windows player to "REPEAT" then it`ll keep playing untill you stop it--------------------(look to bottom right of your windows media player --- there a tiny oblong with an arrow on the top right click on this and in the drop down---there`s REPEAT
LEFT CLICK ON THIS AND THERE YOU ARE..

Hi Ken R, the woman driver is a few years younger than me, but I can sure can park a car in the smallest of places too. Yeah, your dead right, it could've been me. I've been known to do some really crazy things in my time when out in my car, but never to endanger other drivers, I hasten to add. Very Happy

Hi friends---well mky media player now refuses to play my tiny videos now---so i put a tester int my photosuite 7 platinum program with my vioce over---to see if it would play that way---and yes it does...kenneth

One way is to have your media player sert at "repeat" and it`ll play till you stop it Sylvia----that`s what i did--kenneth

Aaah !! Open fires. Brings back happy memories of my cottage in Wales. No central heating and only an open fire which was kept going night and day, summer and winter. Could be hard work, but well worth it, with the kettle on the hob and a toasting fork! Very Happy

Hi Kenneth, some while back, me and my gentleman friend went to Scarborough for our two week hols, and we had a lovely day at Whitby.

Whitby is known to us folk here in the South, as Heartbeat Country, where they film the TV series.

We even went on the steam train and that was nostalgic. It was a very hot summers day, and I looked pretty and feminine in my pale pink dress and because it was so very hot, all the carriage windows were in the open position. When we arrived at our destination, Pickering Station, my pretty pink dress had all speckles of black soot on it, I could have cried! Crying or Very sad

My partner saw the funny side of it and laughed and laughed, Very Happy

but his white shirt also had speckles of soot on, so too did all the passengers. It didn't hinder our lovely day out though, we had a super time and have been back to Scarborough and Whitby several times since. Very Happy

thanks for sharing that clip of Whitby with us, it brought back some fond memories.
