Burnham-on-Crouch & Magnapps Railway Museum.I had a good day out today. Visited Burnham-on-Crouch, where although sunny, it was very windy....just right for the yaught racing.My friend and I sat on the river wall on a bench and enjoyed watching the boats, then we walked back along towards the town and had a look in the Ships' Chandler shops that are there. They do sell some interesting items. Later, we drove on to Magnapps Railway Museum, and had a train ride and a wander around. We had tea and cakes in the refreshment coach, and throughly enjoyed our day out.

Yes, Dora, it certainly does...absolutely! Where I wasn't well earlier in the year, I missed out on my usual regular days out, because I did not feel up to going anywhere.
Perhaps you could say that now I am starting to make up for lost time? (The new car helps, too.)
