Too many "Middle Class" pensioners....those with the means to pay bus fares or car access are using the Free Bus Pass system.

I was so cross when I read this, yes my husband has a private pension and because of it we don't qualify for any other benefits, he paid a high tax bracket for the last years he worked, so he has paid more into the pot than most, and what do we get a bus pass,now it looks like that will go!!!!!

Isn't it just typical of Labour, Joan? They "give" with one hand and "take back" with the other.

It would be so wrong to penalise so called "Middle Class" Pensioners. Does this now mean that because I now have a new car I am classed as "Middle Class" too????

Oh yes, almost forgot, I have two cars, so that fact alone must make me Middle Class! Mad
