My immediate next door neighbour has just knocked on my door to tell me our dog had fouled her garden, which I will deny him doing to my dying day. Whenever our dog is outside our home, he is ALWAYS on a lead or the chain outside the front door we sometimes put him on, which is far from long enough to get within 6 feet of her garden. As she left, I told her to prove it is our dog and I WILL apologise, but I know it is NOT our dog, so she will wait for years for an apology and still not get one from me.

Her daughter who is living there without the councils knowledge, has a staffordshire terrier and lets it use gardens without clearing it up, but I know for a fact the culprits for fouling her garden are the number of cats belonging to a blind neighbour nearby that will continually use her garden and ours, for a toilet and there is nothing she can do about it. You can't train a cat not to wander very easily, if at all.

If she can't tell the difference between cat s*** and dogs*** then she must be blind, Brian.
Cats usually bury theirs anyway, plus they make a place stink to high heaven!
As you can tell, I don't particularly like cats, I don't trust them, they look at you and you can never tell what they're thinking, but with a dog, what you see is what you get. Cats always seem to have their own agenda, and I just don't like them very much at all. Having said that, I wouldn't hurt them, come to that I try not to injure or kill any creature if it can be avoided, not even flies. I prefer just to open a door or window if I get one indoors, and hopefully it will find it's way out.
P.S. Spiders are also welcome in my home, if their webs catch the flies, then that's a natural food-chain thing, and therefore doesn't count. Confused

I love spiders in my house, their webs pick up an incredible amount of dust, thereby saving me hours of dusting, and it looks so pretty in the sunlight too Smile

I quite like cats too , but I couldn't manage a whole one Twisted Evil
