Did you know that if you decieded in your ignorance, to actually buy a computer from P.C. World, and you offer the Assistant cash, they don't want to take it? Surprised? And do you know why?
Because they would much, much rather tie you into a Finance Deal over say, two or three years.. As I overheard a Trainer say to Trainee Salesmen once, when I was working temporarily as a Call Centre Sales person, (he didn't notice me standing in the doorway of the training room), "remember, your're not selling kitchens or bedrooms. No, you are selling Finance!"

Yes, my brother told me that a few years ago. Apparently the commission for finance was better than for computer sales. So do we think they are doing the financing themselves? I usually assume that most firms pass it on to a specialist finance company but it would make more sense to do it themselves, I suppose. |

Yes, Marie, I think we can safely assume that they are licensed Credit Brokers, like most of the big companies are, nowadays.
