Isn't it amazing? First, I get myself a young Tarantula, then, I find that I will require LIVE crickets for it. So, I visit my local Petshop and purchase a tub full of tiny crickets. So, then, these crickets need FEEDING. Oh, god, what do crickets eat, I thought. Ran a Yahoo search for "crickets", and came up with some amazing stuff how people actually KEEP crickets as pets in their own right. Heck, they even BREED the things!
So, now, every day, I go out searching the grass verges and open spaces for Dandelion Leaves. The little insects seem to enjoy these. I gave them their first meal yesterday of about six or seven freshly picked (and carefully washed) leaves, and they were consumed within an hour. So now, not only do I have a spider that eats crickets, I have crickets that eat dandelion leaves, and require me to go out scavenging the grassy places for dandelions, just so I can keep the crickets alive to keep the spider alive!
Isn't Nature wonderful?

Be careful Admin, Don't pick dandelions from grass verges,
they my be sprayed with weed killer, I know near me the council has been out in force with their pestercides. If it does kill the crickets it wont do the spider much good
Sorry to be such a pestermist.
