Thanks to those of you who expressed their concerns and opinions regarding my absence.
Freedom of speech has nothing to do with being allowed to put anything on these forums. It's not a government entity where you should have freedom of speech to spout your views about. This a privately owned site and the owner has a set of rules. If there wasn't there would be chaos. This is a free site and it's our choice as to whether we want to stay or not.
Freedom of speech is allowed, as long as it’s not offensive to anyone and stays relevant to the topic being discussed. If we can't use our own judgement for that, then the Moderators (mods) step in. Now, on that note, has anyone participated in any 12 step programs to help with addiction and dependency to the Forum? Just what "freedom of speech" are you NOT being allowed to exercise? There's sex, perversion, profanity, near-nudity, stupidity, Jerry Springer, psycho-dramas, Dr Phil/Oprah "you go girl" congratulations---what MORE could you want?
What exactly would you discuss here if there was no censorship? You know, these are websites for grownups, but I accept that its the owners right to run this the way they wish to, I chose to stay and accept it because the friends I have made here both male and female, outweigh any minor beefs I have with the forum.
There is arbitrary censorship and arbitrary application of the rules at times (mostly because Admin (ads) and moderators (mods) are human beings and have their own opinions and biases), but this is also a privately owned site that is made freely available. Overall, we're getting more than we're paying for, so I suggest enjoying it despite the flaws.

I'll second that Sylvia, very eloquently put if I may say so.
I'd just like to say that it's good to see you back on here after your short absence as well
Sylvia
Thanks for that Ken, it's nice to be back too!
I'll try at all times, to put my post on the correct topic, but if by chance this should go astray and end up on the wrong one, then please forgive me - could be senile dementia - not done deliberately, honest!
