Has anybody tried Metal Detecting?Just wondering if anybody has ever tried Metal Detecting? I have to admit that I think I would like to try this. But like every new pastime it is rather confusing with many different detectors some almost toy-like to sophisticated hi-tec kit.
With me, prime consideration would have to be the initial outlay, then, I'd have to ask myself wether I could justify paying out for something I may hardly ever use.
I know there's always a slim chance of unearthing a "Kings Ransome", but knowing my luck it will more than likely be old milk bottle tops and ring-pulls!
