Is there anyone out there?Where have all the members gone? we have never been a large forum but it's very quiet isn't it,missing Maywalks imput and Browneyes and Janowl have disappeared, saw both Kens have posted last week but thats it  Have I done something wrong?????

Hi Jojo.
Sorry I have not been around but I have not been feeling too well. After a blood test the doctor found that I was very anaemic.
I am feeling a bit better now after taking tablets and a visit to the hospital.
The ruddy daily news doesnt help to cheer us up much. 
Its definitely not you that has done anything to stop folks coming in but bear in mind that the nights are getting lighter and folk are spending time in the garden getting them set out etc.
I will call in again in a bit.

Don't worry, even though there have been few posts of late from Members,
I'm sure they are still out there somewhere.!
May have something to do with the time of year, and the longer daylight hours,
or perhaps folks are either on a holiday, or down the local supping a few drinks.!

All Fora go through "quiet times", and naturally I have also noticed just how quiet it has been recently.
Please don't worry about it....nobody has bad "B.O." or smelly feet.
I think we are all just doing whatever we can to survive and keep trying to make ends meet!

Don't fret tto much Jo Jo, we're all still here, it's just with it being so quiet of late, there's not too much to commnet on, but I'm sure it'll pick up.......

Quiet? Ken, really? What with MP's fiddling their expenses and the Speaker on the verge of being handed a silver revolver and a bottle of Scotch.
I have been struggling to function normally ever since stopping smoking, and I have suffered everything from broken-windedness to sore lips to swelling legs!
Quiet? I don't think so, somehow, at least not in the part of the world where I live. Peoples conversastions have been full of our rotton and greedy MP's milking their expenses while us mere mortals struggle to make ends meet.
I have a close friend who is being made redundant at the end of this month after three years holding down the same job. She is devastated.

Not too sure it would be a wise move handing Mad Mick McMartin a bottle of scotch and a silver revolver Sandie !  He'd only drink the scotch,shoot a conservative with the revolver and then put in an expenses claim for the ammunition ! The guy has no shame at all and I'm sure he can't quite fathom out what he is supposed to have done wrong !
I've been following your progress with the giving up of the dreaded weed, whilst I have every admiration for you, I can't see myself giving up for a while yet, not sure how I'd cope with the world at present without the crutch of the weed to hold me up and keep me sane (?) !
When I said "quiet out there", I was simply trying to get across that the current climate is so depressing, I think people have given up trying to be cheerful and chatty for a while, it's all just so depressingly similar, day in , day out !

This expenses scandal has really rocked the boat, Ken, and it will take a long time before the trust returns.......if indeed, it ever does!
