Labour's "Diversity Night".Keith Vaz, who hosted the night, took to the dancefloor with two belly-dancers, while Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw joined in.
But the belly-dancers had to be spirited away before deputy leader Harriet Harman, a staunch feminist, arrived for the evening.
Mr Vaz, chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, said: 'We have to hide them away because Harriet Harman is coming.'
