I want to move to a different area(closer to my daughter) a different

Glad to see you back with us Dorramae.
I hope you can get something sorted out about your house and you manage to get what you are looking for.

Hope my e.mail helped, Dora, good to have you back with us.
Moving home is a real pain, and I wish you all the best with it. Have you tried Sheltered Accomodation?
JoJo
Nice to have you back Dorramae, yes it is a problem when you want to move to another area, but keep writing and phoning to them I am sure you will get what you want in the end

Dare I say it? After all this time, and with Sandy's help I am back on
line.
I am also back in my own house, but as confused as ever with regards
to wether I want to stay or move. Well eventually it will all come right won't it?

Welcome back (again) Dora, good to have you with us.
Regarding your house, as I said in one of my earlier posts, have you thought about putting your name down for Sheltered Housing at all?
When I was offered it almost ten years ago, at first I was mildly "insulted" by the suggestion, as I was "only" 55, and did not think I would ever need it.
Almost ten years on, and my health has dramatically changed, I am just so glad that I accepted the lovely little flat I was offered.
With a direct system to "Careline" and a security door and camera, it makes one feel so much more secure and gives a lot of peace of mind.

Nice to see you back on line Dorramae, like you say I am sure something will come along and get you sorted out ,my mother lived in a housing association bungalow and she was very happy, I should put your name down on as many as you can,you don't have to move if you don't like whats offered
