Yes Ken, I found the news on the Daily Mail site, quickly seeded it to Newsvine but was already beaten to it.
Not really surprising as I was on the phone talking to my friend in Aberdeen at the time. Multitasking can be difficult, sometimes.

To be honest Sandie, I was a bit upset when I first heard the breaking news, I thought it was Gen. Sir Mike Jackson and I really like and respect him! It was quite a relief to find out it was only Michael Jaclson the singer. |

Yes Ken, I have seen the General interviewed on television and he seems to be a good man.
Still, as a music fan I am sorry about the singers' demise, although it wasn't totally unexpected as his health was rather perilous.
