Just been given a new Baby Tarantula, as a Birthday prezzy, from my Friend Tony.
It's a lovely orange colour, and is a Selelenobrachys philippinus
The only common name I can find for it so far is " Orange Spider "
No idea if it's a Boy or Girl, way too small for that.!, when they get a lot bigger,
you can sometimes identify Sex from the moults it produces.
it's only about 1/2 inch in size, but will grow considerably larger.
I now have 3 Tarantulas, one is the Goliath, ( Worlds Biggest ),
and the other is a Chile Rose, ( Grammastola spatulata ).
All of these in a Vivarium, which is a heated cabinet, this has heat pads,
and the temperature is controlled by a thermostat.

As you know, Mike, I tried keeping Tarantulas for a while, but for some reason I wasn't very successful.
Besides which, Lou was quite literally terrified of them. So then I discovered the Giant African Landsnails, and have never looked back.
Good luck with your Baby Orange, why not call her "Tango"?
