I've recently started a new collection of Model Steam Locomotives. Most of them are from the "Atlas" collection of static models. They are plinth mounted and really look lovely on one of my shelves in my sitting room.

So far, I have Eight of them, including two German steam locos, one French, the rest are British.

This morning I drove out to a village about twenty miles from my home, called Great Baddow.

I had won two more locos in an auction on eBay, but for some strange reason, no postal service was offered by the Seller. This Seller had been registered with eBay for almost a year, but he had no Feedback from other Buyers, or Sellers.

It's always a bit risky buying from a "Newbie" with no Feedback, but because I really wanted these two locos to add to my collection, I took a chance, placed small bids on each, and won them.

I had to visit his place of Business, a Financial Advisor's office in the High Street. Found it easily enough, and picked up both models. (I had previously paid for them via Paypal).

Here they are: Well worth the little drive to pick them up.
