Nice Surprise.I had a nice surprise last night when my granddaughter phoned and said that she was taking me out to lunch today.
Its her 18th birthday today and she had already arranged to take me shopping. After we come back she had arranged a girly get together as she called it with her friends and her boyfrends mother and wants me to go with them.
Her own mum, my lovely d-i-l, cant go because she has a hospital appointment about the cancer pill she is taking and the side effects that she encountered so that will mean a thorough internal check up. I am hoping and praying that everything will be OK for her and the news will be good when she phones us.
I see the government are on the ball where 18 year olds are concerned because granddaughter had a card and a reminder that she can now vote from our local MP.

She is a gem Jojo.
When I came on the computer earlier I had a little message from her left on Facebook which said quite simply. "Love you Grandma!"
We went out for another meal today and we are off again on Tuesday for another meal because its mine and my lovely d-i-ls birthday.
I dont mind eating out because I loathe cooking.
