I have it on sound information that some police officers are spreading the word to their PCSO and Traffic Warden collegues that they should be prepared for a situation in Britain which will amount to nothing short of a Civil War, and it will make the riots of Broadwater Farm and other recent riots and upheaval look like Tizwaz on a bad day!
Certain police have been briefed to expect this very soon, and they have been told to expect support from Regular and Terratorial Army Units.
Please don't ask where I got this info from, I am not at liberty to tell you. Let's just say that I trust the informant completely.
I leave you to make up your own minds.
JoJo
Hope you are wrong Sandie, but nothing would surprise me anymore
Sandie Seward
I hope I'm wrong, too, JoJo, but as I say, I do trust the source, and I have a "gut feeling" about this as well.

I'm confused on this one I'm afraid. I come from an area that doesn't see a black face from one years end to another. In fact after about three hours in Gateshead and Newcastle today I saw one black person.
We have a Chinese reastaurant and Asians have the fish shop and off-license and that is it.

Aren't you the Lucky Ones, Marie. In some parts of London and the Suburbs it's a case of "Spot the English Person"

Our Area is pretty colour free as well,we get a good few Easten Europeanens, we put it down to the cold weather we get from the North Sea, I know the last time I was on the tube in London I was definatly the minority
marieann
We do have Poles in the area, quite a lot actually but I don't often go to that town so don't come into contact with them. The north of the North-East is not only cold it has very low wages but the Poles don't seem to mind that.

I don't think that this will be so-called "Race Riots", what I think it will be will be all people rising up in protests all over the Country against Government, and it's total mis-management of the Country's affairs. Everything from the Economy to Unemployment, to failing Public Services, that our taxes are supposed to pay for.
There will also be various backlashes against the Street Gangs, and little "Jobsworths" like Traffic Wardens, Community Officers, and Wheel Clampers etc.
Nobody in their right minds wants full-blown Anarchy, and I don't think that it will come to that, but there will be more and more cases of "Civil Disobedience" and "Bending the Rules", as people of all classes and colours try to feed their families and keep a roof over their heads.

Do you think the Conservatives would have done any better, Sandie. I don't, it is six and two threes as far as I'm concerned. We are still suffering up here from Mrs. Thatcher's policies and won't ever recover.
One third of the people living in Tyne and Wear area, that includes Newcastle, Sunderland and everything in between, are living on the breadline and have been for almost 30 years.
They tell us we aren't going to suffer as badly as most of the country but quite honestly that's because there's so little left to go. We've had some monetary relief during Labour's term in office with Tony Blair and a lot of the cabinet having their constituencies in this area.
A lot of money from the EU I suppose really but it's helped clean up the rundown towns and villages and made them more attractive to live in. Also it's supplied leisure activities, a lot of which are too expensive for the people who really need them to use regularly, but at least it helps.
We've managed to get a decent nursery school system going as well, there's a place for everyone who wants one. I could go on and on but what I'm saying is that no matter how bad Labour are this area is still far worse off under the Tories always has been and always will and there isn't an alternative to Labour and Tory yet.
marieann
I know that isn't answering the point you're making but for most of the people here it can't get much worse and they're used to it. I haven't seen or heard anything that makes me think we could have civil unrest in the area.
Sandie Seward
Thank you for your reply, Marie. I am aware that the North and South of Britain are quite different, and I know that unemployment has been really bad in parts of the North ever since Thatcher confronted the Miners. I also know that many jobs in the Heavy Industries went as well.
Now, it's the turn of London and the South. Many of the jobs that have gone are "White Collar" jobs in Finance, Banking, Property, Law, and other services.
There really is a viable alternative Party, Marie, if only the people would stop letting the "Mass media" brainwash them, and pay a visit to the BNP Website for the true situation with regards to the Party.
They are rapidly gaining support now from people in all walks of life, the days of "Skinhead Violence" have long gone, and, having met many BNP Members and talked with them, they are just "ordinary people who are seeking a Political Party that represents their interests, and puts the British People First.
