Prepare to repel Boarders!!!!For hundreds of years, in what was called the Little Ice Age between 1350 and 1850 - freezing winters were a fact of life in the British Isles. In 1673 Dover and Calais were joined by ice.
Bloody good job it doesn't happen now, otherwise just imagine the scenario of hundreds of illegal immigrants who are biding their time in Calais and other French towns, all heading for the Channel and getting across to England on ski's, sleds, or even sliding!
