Retune your Freeview boxes and tele's.More than 20million digital TV set-top boxes linked to the Freeview broadcasting system will stop working this week unless they are retuned.
Five million television sets that have the Freeview digital technology built into them will also have to be retuned.
The exercise is the result of major changes to the frequencies used to broadcast more than 50 TV channels and another 20 radio stations to rooftop aerials. For further help and information please follow the link.

I have managed to retune my freeveiw on the TV but when I switch to my BT box it's still on the old stations, I wanted to record something on channel five but all I got was a blank screen

You should be able to do it through the remote control for the BT box, jojo. It must have a scan facility.
I have two HP TV cards that go in the card slots on the laptops I rescanned them and have great reception better than I've ever had.
