Shocking incident at Turkey GP2 race.

As an avid fan of most types of Motor Sport, I was shocked earlier today whilst watching the G.P.2 race live from Turkey.

One of the most surprising and dangerous things I have ever seen on any racetrack was when about halfway through the race, two stray dogs found their way onto the track, and drivers were forced to take avoiding action in order not to hit them.

Bruno Senna, (son of the late Ayrton Senna) sadly, did hit one of the unfortunate animals. For him, the race was over, and he limped back to the pit lane in a very badly damaged car.

One dog was chased into the paddock by Marshalls, sadly, I don't know what happened to the poor dog that had been involved in the accident.

There was a lack of proper Security at this track, fifteen miles outside the Turkish city of Ankara.

Apparently, there are many stray dogs roaming around the Turkish Countryside, and it was so sad that two of the poor, unwanted creatures found their way onto a raceing curcuit whilst a race was in progress.

This incident needs to be examined closely, and proper measures put into place so that it never happens again.

It makes me sad to think of the poor things, dogs and cats in countrys like turkey have a very hard time,it is one of the reasons I don't go overseas for holidays it upsets me so,and nobody seems to care, I saw Paul Meartons show in which he was touring China,he went down Dog Row it was very busy with people eating outside and yes you have guessed it they were eating dog,he asked one girl if she had ever heard of the saying pet dog,you could tell by the look on her face she didn't have a clue what a pet dog was, she knew what fried dog was though,  Sad
