HEAVY snow and bitter temperatures will hit Britain in an Arctic blast this weekend.
Forecasters last night issued a severe weather warning for the whole country, with up to six inches of snow predicted for some regions.
Temperatures will fall to as low as 1C during the day – and much lower at night.
And Meterologists warned that the cold spell could last for the whole of February.
Snow will cause havoc from Monday, as Britain is plunged back into freezing conditions to carry on the coldest winter for 13 years.

Saturday night will see figures drop to -2C across the country
î
It is estimated that the cold snap will cost Britons an extra £39million a day in heating bills.

Why is it this country comes to a halt when we get a bit of snow? airports shut trains stop running, and as for schools why do they have to close?
Countrys like Switzerland have Airpots Trains and schools don't they? if it closed down every time it snowed the place would be on permanant shutdown
