Storms and Biopsies!

Violent thunderstorms "knocked out" my internet connexion last evening for hours, and I had no time today to try to see if it was restored until this evening.

Back online again now, so catching up with the Weather and a couple of other things.

I have had a very traumatic day at the hospital....two biopsies very painful, big needles!!!!!

Got a headache now, and tomorrow I start on a course of steroids as well!!!!!

Isn't life fun, sometimes?

Aaaawwwwww I am SO sorry Sandie to hear that you have had a rotten time.
I only wish I had a magic wand to help.
I can only send hug and hope that things will get better for you.

Thank you, Maywalk, for your virtual hug. It has been warmly received, strange isn't it, there are still times when a real "Mummy Cuddle" would not go amiss.  Even after all these years.

Anyway, I am feeling rather better this morning, last night I was feeling just a little sorry for myself.

Hi Sandie. I think everyone could do with a lovely hug at times even if you are not poorly.
Good to hear that you are feeling a tad better and I hope it gets better still for you.
My d-i-l has to go and see the consultant on Friday morning for the results of her womb scan and biopsy. Just keeping my fingers crossed that all will be OK for her.
She and my son are taking hubby and myself to Norfolk on Saturday for a long weekend and IF she has the all clear I will leave my ruddy tablets off so that I can have a drink to the future for her.
Its been a gruelling time since before last Christmas when she had her breast off.

I wish you well and I will keep everything crossed for you.
Maisie.

Thank you, Maisie, have a lovely weekend, and please wish your Daughter-in-Law all the very best from me. Smile

Glad to hear you seem to be coping with all the trials and tribulations of late, even the weather seems to be conspiring against you !

Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed for the biopsy results, keep on with the positive thinking, it seems to be working so far !

Take care

Ken

Thank you, Ken. Yes, almost feel as if I am "back to normal" again, but I have to remember that I am not, yet, and I must not "overdo" things.

I am feeling stronger though every day, which, is a good sign.
Smile
