The Rats are deserting the Sinking Ship!So our esteemed Home Secretary, John Reid has announced that he will be leaving his post at the Home Office when Tony Bliar goes. The Captain is finally jumping ship and the Rats are following him into the lifeboat!
Looks like the First Mate, (Gordon Brown) will be taking over a sinking ship indeed, a ship where even the Ships Steward, (John Prescott) will no longer be waiting at the Captains Table.
A ship badly holed and leaking from many different areas. Can it be patched up and made seaworthy again?
Probably, but not before it has to spend a lengthy period in the Dry Dockof Opposistion!
