Three Newly-Married men.Three newly-married men sat in the pub, comparing notes.
The first man had married an English girl, and had told her that he expected her to do the dishes and clean the house regularly. He said it had taken a couple of days, but by the third day he was able to come home to a clean house and all the dishes washed and put away.
The second man had married a Scottish girl. He had told her she was to clean the house, do the dishes, and cook a hot meal each evening. On the first day he was disappointed; on the second day there was a little improvement; but on the third day the house was clean, the washing-up done and an excellent stew on the table.
The third man had married a Welsh girl. He told her that he expected her to clean the house, wash the dishes, cook a hot meal every evening, and look after the garden as well. He said that on the first day he didn’t see anything, and on the second day he didn’t see anything either. However, on the third day the swelling had gone down and he was able to see a little out of his left eye – enough to fix himself a bite to eat and load the dishwasher.
