Trying again to kick the habitGot myself booked into the anti-smoking clinic at my local hospital and hopefully getting a prescription for the Gum tomorrow, so wish me luck.!
My CO2 levels were horrendous, got to have a good try this time.
I will probably be climbing the walls very soon.! Dont upset me.!

Thanks for warning us, Mike. Good luck at the clinic. Co2 levels? what on earth are those? ...........  .......wonder what mine are, as I'm still getting through around 12.5grammes per day of baccy!

Good Luck Mike, I still fancy one and when my husband lights up his I could murder for one, I stopped in Nov. last year. I am determined not to start again, went cold turkey because it was the right way for me so dont know about the help available. It Is damn hard but worth the struggle.

Friends who needs em.?Hi Dee,thanksfor the post, and I like the little quote at the bottom, absolutely right.! I had an aquaintance who used to turn up unnanounced and bent my ear something rotten, not only that I could never get rid of him, he was here till the early hours.! His favourite trick was to ask me not to mention it to anyone, tell me all the gossip, then expect me to keep it to myself.! What a plonker.!

Kicking the evil WeedWell, im still on the Gum,and have not had a fag for a good Month or so now, this was after a few relapses earlier on, so in total longer than that.
I did get a good telling off from the clinic on my last visit, for being so naughty, but i'm doing much better now.The Gum does get a bit boring, and everytime I try to light one, it keeps going out.!
Joking aside, I can now smell someone's fumes from 100 yards away, so I have my sense of smell back, and I dont pong anymore.!

Hi! Mike I have been away for a few days, You sound to be doing great. Should get easier now, getting your sense of smell makes you so aware of how much fags make you have that certain aroma on your clothes, it was one of the things I noticed, still do. I do not gasp for breath now, can take out the dog without stopping every few yards to get my puff back. Still Fancy A Fag though, now it is mind over matter.
