Wedding Costs. (2008)

According to a reader survey by You and Your Wedding, magazine in 2008, the average wedding costs £20,273, with the average wedding dress costing £977 but the groom’s outfit at only £165. The average reception costs £7,724, with a further £3,220 spent on a honeymoon. Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

Working on rough guesstimates & poor memory ours cost a staggering £865.50! Shocked  Very Happy

At the very most £250.00 but it was over 40 years ago.

Can't remember how much our wedding cost, it was a white wedding don't think more than £150 43 years ago, now you know we have just had another white wedding and it cost thousands but it was a wonderful day and we don't begrudge a penny Smile
