Maywalk

What is your opinion?

As most of you most probably know it will be our 60th wedding anniversary in September so while my granddaughter is still around before going to University she wants to take me on Wednesday to get a new rig-out for the “do” .
My d-i-l suggested phoning Debenhams to book me a personal shopper thinking it would help me with not having to walk about so much looking for something suitable.
I declined this idea because I don’t want younger folk doing me up like mutton dressed as lamb.
Was I TOO hasty??????????
I don’t think so because at my age I just want something stylish that is comfortable.
What is your view about this?
JoJo

I think you are right May, a friend of mine had one of those shoppers she bought something that did not suit her at all,but felt pressured into it, so take your time even if you have to do a few trips, you know what you feel right in Smile

Hi Maywalk, not that i'm a fashion guro or anything,
but I would be guided by your own best instincts on this.!

Get whatever you feel you look best in.! Try a few items on,
and you will probably end up with the first one you chose.!,
doesn't it normally work out that way.?

Good luck.!

Hi Maywalk, for what it's worth, do the shopping bit yourself, it may be a bit of a pain, but you'll get what you want, not what someone thinks you want !
I can't see how shopping can be fun if someone else does it for you !!!

enjoy yourself  Very Happy

And don't forget we will want pics of the big day Smile
