whyis the new look board now in french, and why is it no longer obvious where one signs in???

I hadn't noticed it was in French until now 
I stay logged in all the time save me forgetting my password

i used to stay logged in, but every time i leave the site, i am automatically logged out now????

Sign in is the 3rd button on the right, second row down, at the top of the page. as I am signed in permanently, my button reads "Deconnexion" which is French for sign out or disconnect.

Why not ? At least I understand a bit of French, if it had been Swahili or something similar, I'd be posting alongside you, asking what it all meant
I think it gives the forum a kind of "well travelled, bohemian" type look, hopefully, folk will log on and think "WOW, what a well travelled cosmopolitan bunch they are here !"
