Have you been to Citizens Advice about this dorramae It is an awful lot of money to lose out of your pension every week. I don't know what age you are but you could try Age Concern as well. _________________ Marie

Yes Marie I have been to the Age concern and the legal dept too, but apparently they can only reduce the weekly amount payable from my penson credit, so it takes onger to pay back. But the Coucil tax has to be paid before the end of the year and Manchester council are addament that rules can not be bent or broken.
The thing isI am entitled now to pension credit but they take it back again to pay off the overpayment they paid me in the first place.
