I had a knee replacement 8 weeks ago, and I can't fault the hospital, the consultant, or the nurses. I was only in there for 5 days, and I had lots of physio, which helped me get out so quick. I had one little hiccup where I needed my dressing changed, and I had been sent home with a new dressing.When I phoned my doctors surgery to make an appointment for the nurse to do it, I got told it was a 2 week wait????!!!! I didn't want to do it my self as it was a big dressing and the wound needed looking at. I phoned up my local minor injuries unit, who were pleased to help, and who also took swabs incase I had an infection. I was very pleased with it all. _________________ I love dancing
Thanks for your concern peeps. Yes I am doing nicely at the moment, but don't like not being able to do things. (i'm inpatient you see), and I don't like not line dancing. Other than that, we're getting there xx
