A friend of ours has died suddenly two days ago, we visited him only last week and although not brilliant he said he was ok,so it was a shock, he was 80 and had had a heart operation last year, they are going to have a postmorton,I think this is awful Why do they have to do this when there are no suspicious circumstances, why not just leave him alone, what do you think??? _________________
Just a further reason why I no longer trust the Medical profession, since I have registered with a new doctor I have already had letters from my local hospitals and Trust wanting me to go for a breast scan, and to undergo a "test" to see if I have got bowel cancer.
Neither of which will I take up their very kind offers for.
All I wanted is a G.P. to whom I can go if I have any further problems with my health.
Prevention is good......but I resent them treating my poor old body as a "plaything".
With regards to your elderly friend, I think that these days an autopsy is standard procedure in the event of unexpected death.
Thanks Sandie he was a very nice man, one we will miss a great deal,I know it's an automatic thing to be done, I just think it's awful, and in most cases unnecessersary.
