I was so cross when I read this, yes my husband has a private pension and because of it we don't qualify for any other benefits, he paid a high tax bracket for the last years he worked, so he has paid more into the pot than most, and what do we get a bus pass,now it looks like that will go!!!!! _________________

It would be so wrong to penalise so called "Middle Class" Pensioners. Does this now mean that because I now have a new car I am classed as "Middle Class" too????
Oh yes, almost forgot, I have two cars, so that fact alone must make me Middle Class!
