I have told you of our little trip to visit our son in Surrey, well we hired a people carrier as more members of our family went with us,we had a good journey there and back, Yesterday we were going to our Daughter Claires house to help with the garden, I said to Vince what have you done with Claires wedding album she married this april, we had taken it to our sons to show his family, we searched all over panic!! panic!! we have never left it in the people carrier how could we it's a big black box, but yes folks we had,and of course it was bank holiday so no one at the hire firm. First thing this morning we were on the phone as luck would have it the car had not gone out again and the album was were we had left it on the back seat, so we picked it up again this morning, can you belive it, have any of you left or lost something as large as this?? _________________
The hire firm would have kept it safe for you anyway, as it would have been found by the valeters before the car was re-hired. Every car is fully valeted between customers.
Talking about losing big objects. I actually "lost" my car once. I had been visiting Birmingham, and parked it up in one of the many multi-story car parks that had been built in and around the Bullring.
I forgot which car park I had actually parked it in, and after an hours fruitless looking, I called the police to help me find it.
They did, in about five minuets, and it was only a few hundred yards away from where I was standing! Talk about feeling stupid!!! _________________ http://sewardchronicles.ning.com/
