As regular readers of this Forum will probably know by now, I joined a Website called "Newsvine" about five months ago.
Newsvine, is one of the "New Media" sites, in which you can put links to the top News Stories of the day, and also, write your own articles and publish them in your own Column.
I have entitled my column, "The Seward Chronicals", and after a rather slow start when I was just learning the ropes, my Column has blossomed into a fully-fledged Media News Page.
I even get paid for it, 90% of the Advertising Revenue generated by your Site, is paid to the "owner" of the Column.
My "average earnings so-far have been around the 20$ per month mark, and are still growing.
The Top Earners, are averaging 250$ to 300$ per month.
There is a Leader Board on which you can track your posistion (a bit like the old Top Fifty record charts), and since Xmas last year, I have seldom been out of the Top Fifty.
My highest to date has been 8th, and I am currently hovering around the Top Twenty mark.
When you consider the Thousands of Members and Writers on this Site, I feel pretty pleased with myself for getting so near the top so soon.
If you feel like writing, and you would like the World to see your work, then, I fully recommend it.
